Blessing 1
I give you a heligeh bracha from the Aibishter that you should have much bracha and simcha and mazel as you build your bayis neeman b'yisrael, and have many subscriptions to Mishpacha and enjoy reading about the recipes (not saying who is reading the recipes...you know me, I'm not into gender stereotypes).
Wish 1
May you continue to shower each other with love and inspiration. שַׂמַּח תְּשַׂמַּח רֵעִים הָאֲהוּבִים,.... may you be friends and lovers forever.
Advice 1
Memory 1
Loads of fun memories, but my favorite memory with Ora is going out for sushi in Heller - in the midst of a summer in the Catskills - with Ora in full costume: dark makeup, gothic black and purple wig, the works, and telling the shocked women that she was a ba'alat teshuva.
Thoughts 1
My dear Ora, you are among the bravest people I know - in love, in your career, in your Judaism. You are among the most kind, genuine, talented, and magnetic people in my life.
Blessing 2
ORA! May Hashem shower you and Aaron with brachot, simcha, love and shalom! We are so, so thrilled for you and daven that together you should be zoche to build a bayit ne'eman b'Yisrael and a binyan adei ad! Love, Meira & Ari Federgrun
Wish 2
I hope that your unspoken prayers are answered - even before you have to articulate them
Advice 2
Memory 2
The voicemail you left me after a particularly challenging Hesed Day. You thanked me for all my hard work and shared how meaningful the day was for your & your girls. It meant everything to me...all our belly laughs and ugly cries in my office...fun late nights and impressive problem solving at Yale...watching you teach with unbelievable grace, wisdom, and humor - and watching your students absolutely cherish every minute with you....chill Shabbat lunches....you giving me the courage to embark on my next professional venture - I couldn't have done it with you. Love, Ilana
Thoughts 2
To know you and Aaron is to see how your names encapsulate that which you bring to others - peace, love, and light. Aaron Lev - the peacemaker who brings a full heart to all that he does and Ora Golda - who brings shimmering golden brightness to all her encounters.
Blessing 3
My blessing for you in your next chapter is.... that you continue to do what makes you feel brave and find news sources of courage & ways to share it with others...that the world treats you with the kindness that you show others...that you always feel surrounded (physically or otherwise) by people who lift you up, make you feel loved, and recognize how incredible you are! Love, Ilana
Wish 3
May you always know bliss and joy at the deepest level, and help others find it too—at the most fitting point of the Kinsey scale.
Advice 3
You two weathered long distance and a global pandemic - you got this! My advice is this: when in doubt, just do whatever Ora thinks is best. Love, Ilana
Memory 3
Looking forward to creating a new memory in person with BOTH Ora and Aaron- treasure getting to introduce the two of them to baby Natan over Zoom but cannot wait to watch two of my favorite people get to meet our baby <3
Thoughts 3
This past year has brought struggle and darkness. Your and engagement and wedding are a glimmer of hope for us all, who see the potential for a better world in your midst. May you continue radiating in your relationship, shining upon all those graced by your presence.
Blessing 4
Dearest Ora - light to all of the lives you touch - may Hashem illuminate your life with the dedication and exuberance you bring to all that you do.
Wish 4
May each of you continue to share in the goodness of one another, complementing each other's strengths and channeling those experiences to transform weakness. May the people surrounding you reflect this goodness.
Advice 4
Aaron, you want advice? Know that Ora is THE MOST AMAZING TALENTED KIND WOMAN IN THE WORLD. Yes, caps were on on purpose. Know that you are marrying a gem and my advice is to take care of her and keep her glowing. MAZEL TOV!
Memory 4
Dancing like the night would never end at the YDS Christmas party and celebrating our rouge tannah together.
Thought 4
A personal thought for the future I hope that we can co-teach at Stern College some day. Maybe some day soon?! But this isn't about me.... something for you, Ora and Aaron.....I hope that I can meet you some day! I partially feel that I know you because I know Leora from Penn. But still it is kinda hard to imagine Ora marrying a brilliant doctor (or so she says..) I
Wish 5
I hope that you grow as individuals and partners in your relationship toward a common goal
Memory 5
Memory 6
I don't even know where to start....when we were chilling in the Stern dorm in Brookdale having a heated debate about women learning Gemara. Or when I called you on the phone during Sukkos chol hamoed that you needed to request to observe at the Heschel school. Or, when I bought Rav Natan a "real" fake sword. I still can't believe I/we did that, we were such crazy girls! Or the time that I made a MASSIVE avacado salad for my then (bf future husband) birthday. Or most recently when you were most gracious to allow me to sleep at your apartment when I was interviewing for jobs and had the insane 2 day interview at Heschel. And you left me to prep at the nearby starbucks while you visited you know who ;)
