The official name for this body of water located just outside of Minsk is the Zaslavl Water Reservoir. But Belarusians and many visitors have come to know it under a more romantic name. One of the 11 artificial islands in this sea is called the Love Island, so people in love should also come to visit this place.

It is a 30-meter high tower, built in the late 13th century on the hill near the Lesnaya River. This tower is one of the oldest stone structures in Belarus. It is often called “Belaya Vezha”, which is a historical mistake.

This canal was designed for economic and military purposes in the 19th-century. Now it is a popular tourist attraction, which connects river systems across Belarus and Poland.

This church is one of the most beautiful Catholic churches in Minsk. The construction of the church has a very tragic history. It was built for the money of the rich Belarusian Edward Adam Voynilovich, whose children Simeon and Helen passed away at the age of 12 and 18. The small towers of the church received the names of the children.

It is Europe’s largest sports facility. It has everything necessary for practicing 30 sports. It includes a multifunctional main arena able to seat up to 15,000 people, a speed skating track with stands for 3,000 spectators, and a cycling ground for 2,000 people.
