Keep your bike in good, working order. Always wear a helmet. Ride on roads that have little traffic and on extreme right side of the road. Follow all traffic signs. Use proper hand signals. Watch for cars backing out of driveways. Be sure drivers can see you at dusk and after dark.
How to avoid electrocution
Occasionally check cords of lamps, toasters, and other electrical appliances to see that they are in good condition. Never place extension cords under rugs. Do not stand in water when you plug in an appliance.
