How is bullying different from conflict?
Bullying is intentionally mean, repetitive, and the target is not able to make is stop.
Conflict is a disagreement between two or more people on perception or opinion.
Jack sits in the back of the bus in front of the 5th graders. Every time he gets up to walk out of the bus, one of the boys grabs his backpack and jerks him back while the other kids laugh. How could he refuse this behavior?
Tell the boys to stop. Their behavior is not okay.
Sam notices that Jarrell won't let the kindergarteners pass in the hall unless they give him a hug. Sam has told him that this behavior is not okay, but Jarrell told him to mind his own business. How could Sam report the issue?
Tell Jarrell's teacher or the kindergarten teacher what's happening and ask the teacher not to mention names.

It depends: Conflict if Ty is not intentionally trying to cause frustration and just doesn't notice.

Marcus and Barry have been playing basketball each day at recess. Wendy has asked them to play each day and they told her no girls allowed. Chris decided to play with them today and notices this isn't right. What could he do as a bystander to refuse this behavior?
Tell them girls can play too and excluding could get them in trouble.
Mark and Peter usually play squads on Fortnight. They decided to play with Roger and Denny tonight and connect through their headsets. Denny keeps taking Peter's loot, laughing and saying Peter's "gay" and "retarded." What could Mark and Roger do to address the issue?
Tell Denny that behavior is not okay, not laugh, and tell him they will not play with him if he continues to be inappropriate. Report his behavior and get him blocked.
