PCI is a precombat inspection which is conducted before the mission. To ensure all soldiers have all required equipment and that it is all in working conditions.

PCC is a precombat check that is conducted as you step off for your mission. It is a check to see if Soldiers have all required equipment as they already know equipment should be full functional from the PCI. Usually only check for essential equipment.
