We have inspections because every soldier makes the mistake of forgetting something or losing something, and by not having essential equipment for the mission, you can compromise the entire mission.

As a Squad Leader, what steps would you take if you were dealing with a troublesome soldier in your squad?
Address the problem in a private setting with the soldier. Understand where they are coming from, what could be causing it, etc. Come up with a plan for the soldier that can help. If the problem persists, talk with your PL and PSG and get them involved. Last step would be to conduct counseling.
Describe what it means when you are "Talking Guns". A demonstration is acceptable.
Talking guns is a way to ensure constant automatic fire on the objective, without expending all of your ammunition right away.

Developing others was one of the biggest grading criterion at camp. Cadre wanted to see you be fully engaged with your squad members, build chemistry with them, and better develop each other to make a cohesive team.

PCI is a precombat inspection which is conducted before the mission. To ensure all soldiers have all required equipment and that it is all in working conditions.
PCC is a precombat check that is conducted as you step off for your mission. It is a check to see if Soldiers have all required equipment as they already know equipment should be full functional from the PCI. Usually only check for essential equipment.
