What is the name of the document you use directly after an interview and what does it entail.

The Applicant Rating sheet and it involves both facilitators rating the applicant together. Both do not need to have the same answers but must discuss together not separately.

You are getting ready for your interview and you see this message. What do you do?

Usually some rooms allow you to log in only five mins before. If you log in ten or minutes, the room may not be available. Another interview may be ending, so give it time. If its time and the room is still not open contact a facilitator immediately.

Say don't be nervous. We just want to get to know you more. Breathe and take your time.

You have to go back to the Pdfs and look for a second file with their name that has their supplementals. Some applications don't have it included. If there is no version. Mark in your notes that the application is incomplete.

Confirming the interview with the link sent through calendly

Checking the 2020 SLS calendar to confirm its the same as whats on the calendar invite

Make sure its up to date and not an old invitation.

Make sure your wifi and laptop are working and fully charged

Have zoom link open at least 20 mins before and test if it works

choose a good background if you have distractions in the background

let folks know you need a quiet space to interview

What are four things you should do during an interview to get the best out of the applicant. 

Maintain good upbeat energy 

Calm nerves 

Ask them questions outside of the sheet by getting to know them. 

Ask them to expand on their answers so you give them a chance to show their full potential.


Ask them to repeat themselves if necessary so you get the full answer. 

Write your answers on paper first then transfer digitally if you are not a fast typer so they have their full response visible
