What are the membership classifications in Beta Pi Omega Chapter?

This meeting is held once a month prior to the regular monthly chapter meeting.
What is the Executive Committee meeting?

This committee consists of the current officers, elected and appointed, and former Basilei.

An ex-officio member of all committees except the Nominating Committee and shall be notified of all committee meetings.

Who is each soror?

A soror who meets all financial requirements and other obligations for the current year, of both her chapter and the Boule.
What is an active member?

This meeting shall be held at least once per month, except the summer months, preferably on the first Saturday. The alternative meeting date is the third Saturday. During Financial Project years, the chapter may meet twice per month.
What is the chapter business meeting?

In order to participate chapter members must have been active members of Beta Pi Omega Chapter for one year (12 consecutive months).

Serves as Chariman of the Public Relations and Photography Committees.
Who is the Ivy Leaf Reporter?

These sorors meet with the Executive Committee and present their proposed plans prior to reporting to the chapter. They have no vote on the Executive Committee.
Who are Committee Chairmen?

A soror who has earned a baccalaureate, graduate or professional degree in an accredited two, three or four-year senior college or university.

This committee makes recommendations for improvement to the Executive Committee and the chapter regarding its finding based on the Chapter Evaluation.

This committee identifies and studies local, national and international issues which impact upon the quality of life, design strategies for communications with the membership regarding political issues and mobilize the membership for action as directed by the International Committee of the same name.
What is Connection Committee?

A soror who has been a member of the Sorority for at least 25 years, been active a minimum of 10 years and has paid the specified fee to the Corporate Office and received life membership certificate.
What is a life member?

Approved by the Executive Committee, this type of meeting may be called by the Basileus. However, only the business stated in the Call may be acted upon.

Officer(s) who must be certified as a Graduate Advisor prior to her nomination and maintain that certification throughout her tenure.
Who are the Basileus, First Anti-Basileus and Second Anti-Basileus?

These can be amended, repealed or adopted at any regular meeting in which a quorum is present, by two-thirds of the votes cast, providing the proposed changes have been provided to members during the month prior to voting and presented to the chapter in writing for discussion at the previous chapter meeting prior to voting.
What are Chapter Bylaws?

An undergraduate soror who withdraws from college prior to receiving a degree and after a two-year period following her withdrawal, affiliates with a graduate chapter.
What is an associate member?

Shall meet at least annually to plan their activities for the following year and evaluate their activities for the current year. They shall meet as needed during the year to implement their plans as approved by the chapter.
