Purpose of a Letter of Explanation
To explain a low GPA- SMU preferred is a 3.0, this goes through the admissions committee to be approved before applying to the program

DNP includes more rigor and research in program- terminal degree. DNP graduates can teach and tend to be in Admin positions. Both MSN and DNP graduates can practice as an FNP
