An elaborate gold vessel for displaying the sacred host.

The holy water fountains or bowls at the entrances of the church.
STOUP
Used around the waist to secure the Alb so that it will not interfere with walking.
Cincture
contains the host which are consecrated and become the body of Christ.
Ciborium
raised platform with steps. It is in this
space that you find the presider’s chair, altar, ambo, cross, and
candles.
