Advice you could give to a victim of cyber bullying is: - Tell the victim to stay calm and tell a trusted adult. - Do not say any mean comments back because the bully could use it against you. -Print out the messages the bully wrote to you and tell the police or a trusted adult.

Victims of harassment report a loss of interest in school activities, low self-esteem, lower-quality schoolwork, lower grades, and more skipping/dropping classes. This can result in many lifelong losses, which can effect the student as an adult, and can even result in suicidal attempts.

The amount of time people are spending on the internet and texting is only going to increase and that means so will the issue of cyberbullying. People are killing themselves because of what other people are writing to them online or posting about them online. Should schools or parents be responsible for cyberbullying?
It takes both sides, If either of the sides shirnk all responsibility and leave it up to the other entirely, then it will not be effective.
