Following rules, being kind and helping others
Ex: Keeping our school clean and safe and walking in the hallway instead of running
What is empathy?
Understanding how someone else feels and caring about their emotions
What does it mean to respect someone's differences?
Accepting and valuing people no matter what their background is, where they come from, the language they speak, how they look, etc

A signal that helps us understand what someone is feeling or expressing
Ex: If someone has their head down on their desk, we would assume they are probably feeling sad or tired

Offering help, encouraging them or telling a trusted adult
