We run into the art room and get to do what we want!

False- it is $15 every time

Do I have to buy everything on my art supply list?
No- most of the items are "recommended" but anything works
We can have our phones out and be on them pretty much the whole class period.
False- we need to keep them out of sight out of mind concept. LOCK IN STAY FOCUSED
We have a 1-2-3 punch policy for fighting?
False, it is a zero policy and their will be consequences for you action- DAEP or map will be mandatory. Recording a fight is part of our zero policy. NO FIGHTING NO FILMING PERIOD.
The hall monitors are asking for your pass. Do I really have to show them?
Yes- they are here for safety protocol. BE RESPECTFUL. BODY LANGUAGE INCLUDED.
I can get on my cell phone at lunch and on the patio?
YES! Only when you are sitting down.
Are donations for art supplies mandatory?
No- look around your house- if you got any of those items bring them to art.
Once we get to our seat- get our sketchbook/notebook to start our daily "do nows"
True. We have a daily do now check list or warm up to keep us on track and consistent.
I can sell extra snacks to my friends and make money.
If there is an adult at a door trying to get in, do not let them in. Let an adult in the school open the door for that person.

False- we are responsible for bringing it to school EVERYDAY. We use Chromebook on a weekly basis.
Do we need our sketch books or spiral journals by next week 8/14?
YES!
We all have to do our part in cleaning up.
True- if we want our class to be clean and organized we all have to help out.
False- phones and listening devices are not allowed in the hallways or in the classroom unless your teacher has given you permission to use them.
I can go to the nurse when I need to even if it is every class period?
False- Only go when it is necessary.
I need to know where I am going and get their on time while walking anywhere on campus.

Google classroom is an option I don't have to use it much.
False- google classroom is used weekly! KNOW IT AND USE IT APPROPRIATLY.
We don't have to put our materials away at the end of class.
False- We have to return materials to the proper place for organization. WE ARE A TEAM.
Should you skip your classes or lunch to go see your favorite teachers?
NO! Wait to chat with them after school...if you get caught skipping you will get ISS.
I have a eye doctor apt and I get to school with my doctor's note at 8:50 AM. My mom can just drop me off and I can sign myself in!
True- only after 9 AM do my parents or guardians need to sign me in.
If I have questions I should wait to get home to ask my parent or guardian.
False- Ask a coach, teacher, faculty, member or admin.
NO! Try it and have an open mind set you will be great no matter what. Follow the instructions on each assignment and give it a shot!
