It is respectful to wait until the conversation is done and then you can talk to that person.
You are talking to your neighbor during class, but he is not looking at you and focusing on his work.

What is a social filter?
When we decide ahead of time of words to use by deciding if they would be hurtful or negative to someone. If they are hurtful or negative, we don't say them.

You can respectfully disagree, but do not argue. Not at school, and not at home.
