Ms. Grasfield is arrested for attending a peaceful protest against the government. At the march, people are protesting a new bill that passed through Congress requiring all schools to display a poster of the Ten Commandments in each classroom. When she is arrested, she is not told why she is being arrested and is not allowed to contact her lawyer. She is processed and her bail is set for 8 million dollars. She is in jail for three years before a trial date is set for her criminal charges. Once the date is set, the judge refuses to let her case be heard by a jury and instead decides it himself.
