How was the religious situation different in the different European Colonies? How was it similar?
The religious situation in New Spain and New France was similar because they remained Roman Catholic, like Spain and France, and did not establish colonies for religious reasons. The English colonies were all protestant, but not all the same and many came to practice their faith in a way that was not allowed in England or their previous country.
