What is a compass rose?
A type of map that has rows and columns that form squares. The rows are labeled with numbers and the columns are labeled with letters.
What is a grid map?
There are seven of these -- North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Australia, Antarctica, and Asia.

A picture or drawing on a flat surface that shows the different parts of something.
