What does body in the group look like?
Your body is physically with the rest of the group and you are doing what is expected with your body.
What is Whole Body Listening ?
Looking at the speaker with eyes, calm body, hands still, hears listening, and thinking about what is being said.
What is a group plan?
When everyone is thinking about and doing the same thing.
What does body in the group NOT look like?
Your body is out of the group and your not doing what you are supposed to be doing with your body.
What are you doing with your feet if you are whole body listening?
They are quietly on the ground.
How do others feel when you are following the group plan?
Calm and comfortable.
If your body is in the group, what does it tell the teacher and other students?
That you are ready to learn!
What is not whole body listening?
Not looking at the speaker, talking when they are talking, moving your body around, looking away.
How might others feel when you are not following the group plan?
Frustrated, angry, sad,

How do we know if someone is not following the group plan?
They are doing something different than the rest of the group and are not thinking about others.
If we are sitting on the carpet as a class, how would your body show that it is in the group?
By also sitting on the carpet with the class.
What do we use whole body listening for?
To make our brains available to take in all the information around us (eyes see, hears ear, etc).
What is the difference between group plan and body in the group?
The group plan is what we do together or all the same. Body in the group is when we are in a space close enough together that is appropriate for the situation.
