Taking initiative is realizing when something needs to be done and doing it without someone needing to tell you.

Don't try to stop someone who is stealing. It isn't worth possibly getting hurt. Your boss will let the police know so they can handle it.

Taking feedback is when you respond in a nice way when your boss tells you something you did wrong or that you need to improve on.

It can be hard to hear about a mistake you made, but it is a chance to improve and do better in the future.
