Because she worshipped God, just like them. They would tell stories about prophets and she would join in and tell them all what she knew about the prophets. She even recited surat 'Yusuf' for them.
How did the family manage the storm?
The girls put the cows back in the stable, Mrs. Sampson brought the washing inside, and they put the pots and cups in different areas in the house to collect the water dripping from the ceiling.
