How do you know which version of an adjective (alto, alta, altos, altas) or emotion (enojado, enojada, enojados, enojadas) to use?

You have to match the adjective or emotion to the person.  If it is one guy, it will end with an o.  If it is one girl, it will end with an a.  If it is multiple guys, it will end with os.  If it is multiple girls, it will end with as.
