What is an Individual Education Plan

Who are the parents/legal guardians of the student, at least one general education teacher, at least one special education teacher of the student, a district representative, any related service providers, interpreter, if the home language is other than English

Changes in HOW a student learns - may include: presentation of information, timing/scheduling, the specific setting, aids or supports, and format of presentation

This model defines a disability as the result of a physical condition, which is intrinsic to the individual (it is part of that individual's own body)

This is a meeting to discuss parent concerns and/or how a student's existing IEP is being implemented.
What is an IEP Discussion Meeting or Parent Initiated Meeting?
This model says that people are disabled by barriers in society, not by their impairment or difference. Barriers can be caused by the physical environment or by people's attitudes to difference
