Non-matriculating
If a course is not listed on the Tiger Transfer Tables, does that mean it won't transfer over?
No, it just means it's never been evaluated before and we would have to send the course off for evaluation once they were accepted.
What is the 25+ program? How do students wanting to use this program apply?
A way for students older than 25 to be admitted even when they don't meet regular admissions criteria.
They apply as regular students (freshman, transfer) and only become part of the 25+ program if they don't meet regular admissions requirements
What is required for a transfer student over 30 transferrable credit hours?
All college transcripts, 2.5+ GPA, Grade of C- or better in college level Math and English
Does a re-entry student need to submit any documents for their application?
If they've been to any other institution since leaving LSU, they need to submit those transcripts

If a course is listed on the Tiger Transfer Tables as ENGL 1***, how will it transfer?
A general 1000-level ENGL elective
It will NOT count as a specific course (ex. ENGL 1001)
When do we require English proficiency scores from students?
When they attend high school in a non-English speaking country
The requirement can be waived if their high school sends a letter stating that all curriculum was taught in English.
What additional requirements are there for a student under 30 transferrable credit hours?
High school transcript, ACT/SAT/Test-Optional
Who reviews Re-entry applications?
Our counselors AND their senior college
How do non-matriculating students apply?
Either as transfer or re-entry, selecting Non-degree seeking as their major
If a course is listed on the Tiger Transfer Tables as MATH 0***, how will it transfer?
It won't! It is considered below college-level (remedial/developmental), and can't be used for college credit.
What should students who have not attended another college besides taking military courses apply as?
Freshman
Military transcript will be listed on their portal, but is not required to submit.

Do re-entry students need to submit an enrollment deposit?
