“When I first came my English was not that much, but when I started in RYP's after-school program, I got help with homework and improving my English and getting to know people and getting to have more opportunities. And making connections.
So when I first started participating, I was like, this is the best group ever because this is the place I felt like home and everyone was from different countries. I got to meet people from different countries and different backgrounds, getting to know them and places and things I was not familiar with.
And how my GPA is looking now... it is the highest GPA in my school and I would like to give credit to RYP and how it supported me and how it helped me reach where I am right now."
