What is a Chopper?
The area between the offense and defense at the start of the play. Only the center is allowed in this zone until after the ball is snapped.
What is the Neutral Zone?
A move where a player attempts to win the ball by sliding towards the ball. If the tackling player touches the ball first, he is allowed to make contact with the player controlling the ball. If the tackling player strikes the player before the ball, a foul is assessed. A tackle from behind is always a foul regardless of whether the tackler managed to get to the ball first.
What is a tackle?
A type of jump shot where a player jumps backwards, away from the basket, making it difficult to defend.
What is a Fadeaway?
A system of scoring a game in which the first player to win four points wins the game. If the score reaches 3-all, the next point decides the game.
What is a NO-AD?
The umpire calls the batter out when (a) there are less than two outs in the inning, and (b) the batter hits a fly ball that can be caught by an infielder in fair territory, and (c) there are runners on first and second or the bases are loaded.

Describing the action of putting a ball through the space created when a defender has his legs spread. A player is said to have been "nutmegged" or "megged."
