No problem, in order to get a quote all we need to do is gather just a few pieces of basic information and we can provide a quote for the both of you, at least this way you will know what the price will be.
Does my spouse need to be here to complete their application (for FUW)?
Nope! You can answer everything to the best of your knowledge, and anything you don't know we can always reach out to your spouse. At the end of this call, we'll get everything sent out to you and your spouse.
I don't want to give my spouse's email address/phone number
Okay, I understand. However, due to compliance purposes the carrier requires that there are two separate email addresses on the accounts.
My spouse stays at home
In that case it may actually make even more sense to add an application for your spouse. The reason being its important to be able to cover child care costs if your spouse were to pass. While they may not need as much coverage as you, it would be good to have something small to replace those costs.
I'll need to chat with my spouse to see if they would like to get a policy
Most of my married clients actually go through the process together, it actually makes the process easier so you both know what to do at the same time and there is no delay in getting either of you covered. Also, going through the process does not lock either of you into anything, it simply just allows the carrier to give you a final decision, which you can either accept or reject.
I don't know my spouse's availability to complete the interview
More than fine, what I can do is send them a text directly and ask them what time will work best for them. All they will need to do is respond to that text and we can get them all wrapped up!

I can definitely send these over to you both so you can discuss them together. There is also no guarantee that the carrier will come back with an approval at this price. We might as well run through the interview, and see what [Carrier] approves you at. This way, you will have a final price to shop around instead of a quote. Even after approval, you have time to decide if you want to accept the policy or not. Does that make sense?

That's not a problem. If you want, you could just shoot them a quick text and then if they get back to you before the call is done I can just add it in. And as another option, you should be able to find it on any tax documents if you know where those are.

Got it, I completely understand. We do recommend coverage outside of work, even if it is a smaller policy. Typically, work coverage expires when you leave or retire. We could look for a small face amount that makes sense. Starting an application for them would not add any additional time. so what's their first name and we can get started?
