St. Paul uses the analogy of a race to explain the spiritual life. Explain this.
In a race, if we go off track, it's like falling into sin. If we get a victory, it's like making it to Heaven. In order to win a race, you need to train. As Catholics, we train by using our faith so we can make it to Heaven.
What happens to the soul after it leaves the body?
The soul goes to God for judgement and enters into eternity.
