The argument started over land. The French thought that they claimed land that others claimed. Robert de la Salle claimed the Ohio river. The British also claimed a large region too. The French attacked the British trading post and soon destroyed it (and ownership).

He rebelled because the British was taking over land so he relayed up the Indian groups to fight together against the British so they would leave. The Natives continued to lose their hunting lands and homes to the English settlers. The English were tearing down the woods to build their homes and roads.

Jamestown was located in a swampy area with polluted water and lots of insects that carry disease, at first Jamestown was not a successful colony. This colony was founded by the English, was in Virginia. John Smith had to create the LITTLE RED HEN rule, to get people to work together.

The French and Indian war were fighting over land, they each wanted land to grow their communities and religion, they also wanted more trading posts. The land in the Ohio River Valley. Each side believed they were the true owners and wanted the other side to LEAVE and give the winner full control.

The Indians helped turned the war over in Britians favor because they thought the French might take their land next. England sent the colonies reinforcements (sent soldiers money, supplies etc).. and the iroqouis joined forces with the English.

This Proclomation was when France and England signed the Treaty of Paris in 1763 to end the war. A law that prohibited the colonists from living on, hunting, exploring or buying any land of the west of the appalachian mountains (and if you already moved there).
Chief Powhatan was an American Indian leader who ruled most of the indigenous tribes in the Chesapeake Bay region. He was also Pochatanas' father and he arranged a marriage between Pochatanas and John Rolf. He also tried to bring PEACE to the Native American and British Colonies.

The natives added more soldiers and supplies to the army. They also had knowledge of the land and skill in fighting in the woods that would save the English Colonies.
