Democracy means that the cititzens are involved in electing leaders of the country. A republic means that leaders are elected/voted for.

Supply is the amount of a product. Demand is how many consumers want to buy it. If a demand for a product is high, the price will increase. If supply for a product is high, the price will decrease.
