What is an IEP?
Individualized Education Program - a legal document that outlines a student's educational needs and goals, and the services and support they will receive from their school district. IEPs are created for public school students with disabilities ages 3–25 who are eligible for special education.

A referral is made when strategies implemented by the team are not effective in supporting the child and outside support is needed for the child and/or staff members AFTER observation notes have been made and Maureen has started working with the teaching team.
While the class was waiting to go down the stairs, Ilai left the group and ran down the stairs. The teacher caught him immediately. After that in the hallway going to the cafeteria, Ilai screamed at the teacher "STOP STOP!" and ran away down the hall. The teacher took the entire class to go get him.
