How does a child get an education while going through treatment?
Through St. Jude. St. Jude School has six teachers, and they can teach their students almost anywhere – even in a hospital room. If a kid is feeling well and isn’t busy with treatment, he or she can come to the St. Jude classrooms, which look just like regular classrooms. They even have Smart Boards.

The St. Jude Garden; To help their bodies heal, kids are encouraged to sample the organic food grown from the St. Jude garden and served at Kay Kafe. They also are invited to help alongside the 25 volunteers who assist the St. Jude gardener in tending to the garden.

What is the Passport Program at St. Jude?
New in 2016, this program recognizes patient progress by allowing each patient to collect “passport stamps” when he or she visits a clinic or patient care area that is taking part in the program. Each clinic and service has its own unique “passport stamp.” The program gives patients more ownership of their hospital experience through goal-setting and allows parents to document their child’s journey.

We are the only organization whose partner's have a national meeting with it's members. No other Greek organization's philanthropy pays for them to visit the place they raise money for. (many other answers acceptable)

The St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - Washington University Pediatric Cancer Genome Project is an unprecedented effort to identify the genetic changes that give rise to some of the world's deadliest cancers. It offers great promise for developing powerful new approaches to diagnose and treat cancer or perhaps even to prevent it.
