What is presented?
The Earth’s surface is made of rock. This rock gets broken down and moved over time. The surface continues to change, and weathering and erosion play a big part in this change. Weathering is the process of rocks breaking into smaller pieces, while erosion is the movement of weathered rock. Water and wind cause these processes to take place, and it happens very slowly. For example, the Grand Canyon was formed after many years of weathering and erosion.
