TIP: do NOT capitalize family names when they cannot be replaced with given names. Do NOT add an apostrophe unless the word is a contraction or being used to show possession. Object pronouns follow a verb.
What does it mean to "annotate the text"?
take notes, record key events, ideas, track your thinking, summarize paragraphs or main ideas, #hashtag your thinking, etc...
What are 2 testing strategies you recommend?
Use of all your strategies, go back to the text to look for text evidence, use a dictionary and thesaurus, flag questions and return later, use process of elimination, use tools in Cambium, use your scratch paper, draft your ECR and SCR before typing, LOCK IN AND NOT MAKE EXCUSES!, etc...

One strategy to determine if a word replacement is the correct answer is to:
