These are labels that are required to be placed on the student test tickets by the site coordinator. Each label has a specific date and test subject. If a student is absent on their original date, a new label must be placed on top of the old label to reflect the new date.

What must be collected prior to testing and is NOT Allowed?
A test administrator leaves the testing room for a quick second, leaving the testing room unattended with a trained test administrator.
What is an incident report?
A test administrator can NEVER leave a testing room unattended during a live test.
You should be doing this very important step to about 3-5 days prior to testing week as a reminder for families testing. This is a perfect time to gauge your attendance and provide any site location specific details.
What is contacting the students & parents assigned to your site location?
Test administrators must ensure that students remain seated during testing, except when they are receiving or returning authorized testing materials. Students are not allowed to talk to one another while testing is in progress. Ensure that students do not return to a subject-area assessment attempted on a previous test day or to work on a subject-area assessment that has not yet been administered. Test administrators may not view or discuss individual test questions or responses unless specifically directed to do so by the test procedures.
What is active monitoring?
The student's name and Room # should be on this particular item provided to the student at check-in.
What is a name tag?
Must be available for students taking: STAAR reading, writing Grades 3-8 and English 1 and 2.
What is a dictionary?
You must read this aloud to the students for each test session you host, even if you have multiple grades or subjects in your classroom. It also has a guide to assist the test administrators on how to use it.

Tape and anything sticky MUST be removed from these before returning them to the district.
What are iSVA issued Chromebooks?
This takes place daily on site with all staff members assigned to your site. You must also have one of these the week prior to testing to review all things related to your site!
