What's the difference between a workshop and study session?
Study sessions are not aligned directly to the course, and do not offer credit. They are only for 2 hours each week.

Email Julia and Thea with the date of your workshop and the reason you can't host your workshop so that we can try to find you a sub.
If we cannot find a sub, communicate with your workshop students to plan a makeup workshop.
When are the Planning the Session sheets due?
Friday at 5 pm, but as long as they're submitted over the weekend it's fine

What do you need to accomplish during your first Workshop?
Establish group expectations
Make sure students are enrolled in the correct workshop/ no auditing
Review attendance policy (no credit is given to students who do not attend the workshops)
Imagine you have 20 students in one of your workshop sections while your other section has only 1 student. What would you do?
You can either encourage the 1 student to join your other section or encourage the 20 students to consider joining your other section.
