When do our doors open to public on weekends?
15 minutes after our start time
Can you just drop shifts last minute?
No, this has been happening frequently, so we now need a 4 hour minimum call in. The person dropping the shift must find coverage (not just text Lisa or Elizabeth) or they are responsible for coming in. If multiple sick calls are received a doctors note stating you are sick and unable to work with a return to work day will be requested.

Blue shirt and dark athletics pants or non frayed or holey jeans, closed toed shoes
Do we have enough staff for shifts?
We are finding almost weekly it is hard to get staff to cover last minute coverage whether sick or new bookings requiring extra staff. For this reason we may be hiring one more staff member. Elizabeth and Lisa cannot be assumed to cover shifts as our budget does not reflect OT, it reflects a 40 hour work week.
Can i take someone's word for it regarding their FCSS discount?
No we must see the card and match the discount in PM to the amount on the card. The person must be the one paying and must be on the card.
What is new for summer camps 2024
Ages 4/5, half day and the possibility of post care.
What is needed to be in the batting cage?
Everyone in the batting cage must wear a helmet
How early should we arrive for a shift?
At least 5 minutes before
Can I trade shifts with someone?
Yes however there are times we have the schedule set a certain way ex. youth nights, children's programs or larger events where we know we need very strong staff to implement rules ex. Church booking.
These are reasons the trade may not be accepted.
How do you input a cheque on cash-out sheets?
I write each cheque separately with the cheque number and name if possible. Cheque number is a must.
Does stay and play need to ensure they are off the turf and all children's items put away before the booking starts.
Yes, please encourage items to be on the bleachers. Ensure you clean up all bottles, pens, papers etc. Sweep if food or garbage on the floor.
What is needed for a dog to enter the facility?
They must be a service dog with documentation, Service card. Ex. We have a lady with a maltese who has presented a doctors note, I have it on file while they are getting service/therapy designation, she is to be allowed in, as we have medical documentation.
Name three things that should always be checked at close?
Doors closed, cages locked, key cabinet locked, safe cabinet locked, Lisa's office locked, balls not sitting on the lost and found table or anywhere else in the gym.
How many shifts must I work a week? Do I have to pick up drop shifts?
You must be available for a minimum of two shifts per week is required. We do take into account how many shifts are being picked up in regards to hiring. If suddenly have more availability there is no guarantee of extra shifts if we have a set schedule out.
What must every account have?
A picture and email, we are still finding a lot of accounts missing those.
Can 3 on 3 basketball access the facility for free before or after the 3 on 3?
No only the hour of 3 on 3 is free, they need to pay if they are here longer.
No scent policy do we have one?
Currently there is a not a no scent policy but effective tomorrow we are implementing a scent free work environment due to people have sensitivities to scents
Do I need to check my emails when I am not working?
Yes we expect at least two different checks spaced out. Often we have questions about a shift or you have left a question and we need more information. We try to only text if urgent response is needed.
How many people can be off at one time? This includes Lisa and Elizabeth
2, Lisa and Elizabeth have to take time off. Due to our time off we won't be approving anymore time off for August right now.
What do I do if a Town Employee comes for drop in?
-if they don't have an account already

-create account or if they have an account add a picture and make sure the information is correct

Can I apply to be a camp counselor?
Of course! They are required to be here for 9 weeks at 40 hours a week working with kids 4 years to 12 years
