Privately talk to them. It is key not to embarrass them in front of their friends.

Greeting students in the hallway, building relationships with students, emotional check ins, making the lesson fun and engaging, creating a welcoming environment, handling discipline issues with a perspective of “I really want you to experience this but based on your behavior you need to have a ten-minute time out in another activity”, celebrating small milestones, etc

Where are staff placed during a student line?
One in the middle and one in the back. If there is an extra staff member have them be in the middle.
Can a walk home be dismissed on their own before 5:30 PM?
No child is to be dismissed before dismissal time without a parent or designee on their application
Once a student leaves the building, are they allowed back into the building?
