When should behavior data be taken?
Data should be taken throughout the day.
Behavior data NEEDS to be taken EVERY DAY the participant attends the program. (must match evero attendance.)
Behavior goal needs to be run every day the participant attends, providing they have a BIP and not a PBS.
What should you do if your tire is low on air?
Fill it up!!! Use the sir machine yourself or ask the attendant to help. Mavis has a free air machine

What is the minimum amount of goals to be run each day?
What is the minimum amount of staff needed in a program room?
Two (2) staff.
If your fellow staff is out of the room an you need the bathroom (or to leave)- then wait until they return.
Be considerate of each other! Teamwork!
When can a participants make a simple purchase in the community?
Each time they go out into the community . Use every opportunity to run purchasing goals.
Participant should present a form of payment
Wait for receipt and/or change.
With which behaviors should ABC data be taken?
ALWAYS with Aggression, Self Injury, destruction
When it is specified on the data sheet
It is new or unusual.
Also should be taken EVN IF behavior happens on VAN or COMMUNITY.
If your group is going on an outing and Participant D has $80.00 in there money book, should you use the AMEX for them?
It is best to use their dues money first. Use the Ames for participants that are low on dues.
What is considered "Mastering" a step in a goal?
80% for 5 days with the goal being run by 3 different people.
When mastering a step then move the participant to the next step - inform your QIDP (preferably email) and change your program rooms master list of the steps of the participants goals and inform every staff in the room of the change.
When should your schedule be signed?
BEFORE your group leaves on an outing - which is BEFORE 10:30am.
What is the first thing you should do when you have made a gas purchase or a purchase with the AMEX?
Take a photo of receipt.
On Gas receipt - then write your initials on receipt, Day Hab, van name and put in box in QIDP office.
On AMEX receipt - then write your initials, program room, what purchase was for, and Day Hab and give to Jasmine.
What is an SD?
SD means Discriminative Stimulus
The cue that signals available reinforcement'
The instruction you give to someone that tells them to complete a task or activity before you tell them good job, give them there token, let them get there break etc.
Give the SD ONE TIME! After the SD it is then a prompt
What is an IPOP? Where are they kept?
IPOP means Individual Plan of Oversight Protection

It will explain all safeguards that need to be recognized for the individual.
What is pointing to something to help a person to complete a task or activity?
A gestural prompt
Should be used INSTEAD of verbal prompt!
When should the community integration form be placed in the bin?
After it is FULLY completed and signed by a supervisor. Double check that all info is on the form correctly.
When should you change your outing??
Only with Supervisor approval!!!
Outings should remain as to what you wrote on calendar. Check outing's website for closed dates, opening times, cost and other availability BEFORE adding it to your calendar!!
What is touching someone's elbow to help them complete a task?
Partial Physical Prompt
Use this if the participant does not respond to gestural prompt (after 3 gestural tries)
Always make sure you are have received the participants attention before SD and prompting. (i.e. have them turn ipad/iphone over or off - be in their sight line etc)
How should I speak to the participants?
Calmly, evenly and kindly
What should you do if you do not have all the materials to run your participants goal?
Find them, Create them or ask the BIS or QIDP for help.
All materials for Goals should be in the participants data binder or on the Communication Board.
Are ACC devices only for the communication goals?
NO- they should be used for communication throughout the day.
Create real and pretend opportunities to get the participants to interact with staff and with each other.
First thing in the morning, which participants should be told and aware of what the day's outing will be?
All Participants!!! If the outing is the same as the calendar then reinforce that the group is going there. If it has changed then present the change in writing and verbally to the participants.
What is the PROMPT hierarchy??
Gestural - Visual - Modeling - Partial physical -Full Physical
Avoid using Verbal prompts - People just repeat them back or do not listen.
Repeating a demand to a participant, saying it louder or saying it more sternly will not get them to comply!!!!!!! Always watch your tone.
