What are Chrome and Firefox?
I made an Image in my Blackboard course, but I can't find it in Canvas. What do I do?
Recreate it as a page in Canvas. The image should be located in Files if you transferred the files.
How do I make a content folder?
Canvas does not have Content Folders, but content can be organized in Modules.
On specific dates and times, these are used to help instructors and staff learn about transferring content from Blackboard to Canvas, getting started in Canvas, and using the Gradebook and Speedgrader.
What are the workshops and webinars?
This is the tool in Canvas used for sharing grades with students.
What is Gradebook?
These are what you can change in order to reorder, add, or remove buttons from Canvas Course Navigation.
What are Navigation Settings?
My Zoom session did not transfer from Blackboard to Canvas. What do I do?
Create a new External Tool link within the module where the Zoom session link should reside.
How do I send an Announcement in the future?
You can delay an Announcement by choosing "delay announcement" and setting a future date and time.

My blogs did not transfer from Blackboard to Canvas. What should I do?
If you're using the Blog tool from Blackboard, that is not supported in Canvas. I can put you in touch with one of our instructional designers who can help you to develop a solution.
How do I check an assignment for plagiarism?
You can turn on plagiarism checking from within an assignment's options page.

These are what you change in order to receive communications from Canvas through email or SMS.

This function is used when an instructor wants to replicate a prior Canvas course.
What is Course Copy?
I transferred my content from Blackboard to Canvas, but the folder structure is all wrong. What do I do?
Canvas has a different structure than Blackboard. There . are now Modules instead of Content Folders. As such, you will need to think about how to change the framework of your course. I can put you in touch with an instructional designer who can help you to make those decisions.
How do I make a column in the Gradebook?
To create a column in the Gradebook, you must create an Assignment. Each assignment will automatically create a column.

This is the system that automatically adds students to Canvas courses and updates enrollments.
What is the Managed Enrollment System?
This function is used to determine which courses show on a Dashboard or Course List.
What is favoriting?
I don't have time to move my content to Canvas. You need to do it for me.

How do I do weighted grading?
You will first need to make sure all assignments are in Assignment Groups. You will then need to turn on the weighted grading option and set the weights for each assignment group.
