What is physical bullying?
Someone who is on the receiving end of hurtful comments, actions, or behaviors, whether verbal, physical, emotional, social, or cyber.
What is a victim?
You pass by a group of people and you can hear them laughing and saying things about one of your friends that aren't true

What is verbal bullying?
A person with a (real or perceived) power imbalance who seeks to cause or inflict harm upon others via words, actions, behaviors, or rumors
What is a bully?
You see a big crowd of people outside the school and hear a lot of shouting. You walk over and see two people fighting in the middle. You look around and see everyone has their phones out but no one is stepping in to stop the fight

What is cyber-bullying?
A person who is witnessing an unpleasant, inappropriate, or dangerous interaction between two or more people wherein harmful words or actions are performed or rumors are heard, and no counter-action is taken
What is a passive bystander?
You hear someone crying and when you ask her what's wrong, she tells you that she lost all her friends because someone told them that she was talking about them behind their backs, but it's not true

rolling your eyes or turning away from someone, excluding others from the group, getting others to ignore or exclude, gossiping or spreading rumours, setting others up to look foolish, and damaging reputations and friendships.
What is social bullying?
A person who is witnessing an unpleasant, inappropriate, or dangerous interaction between two or more people wherein harmful words or actions are performed or rumors are heard, and takes action to intervene or stop the interaction
What is an active bystander?
You're walking in the hall and see two people confronting someone else that is much smaller than them. The two people are pushing the smaller person around and hitting things out of their hands. Someone sees this happening and goes to tell a teacher
