What is the translation? How does it relate to Stowaway? Tell me everything you remember about it.

Translation: Unknown or undiscovered territory

The captain's secret mission was to search for this unmapped landmass, which was believed to be much larger and more connected than the actual continents of Australia and Antarctica. The thinking was that for the Earth to have balance, there must be a proportionate amount of land in the southern hemisphere as there is in the northern. Obviously, this theory was proven incorrect as more explorers, such as Cook, navigated the unexplored seas.
