In order to achieve the safest and most reasonable responses from police officers, how should citizens respond to violations of their fourth amendment rights?
Be polite and cooperative with police officers. Do not threaten them (with legal action, or otherwise), yell, or display aggressive behavior. Quietly note all of the details of the encounter that you can, and write them down as soon as you are able.
