We fix the light. If their is an issue with the pole itself (Eg. Leaning, damaged, cracked), that goes to BC Hydro.
I see a traffic signal with a bag over it! Why did they do this? Isn't it dangerous?

Hi, I’ve noticed that at the intersection of Kerr and E 49th there is a left turn signal for traffic going northbound on Kerr, but there isn’t one for traffic going southbound. I’d like for one to be installed because I always turn left at this intersection to go eastbound on E 49th but I always have to wait for SOOOOOOOOOO long because of oncoming traffic. Make it so!

The crosswalk at intersection between switchmen and Quebec always takes at least 10 min to switch crossing over on Quebec on both crosswalks. Is it me or is the sensor broken? It works but It doesn’t usually take this long.

I want to request a crosswalk at Elliott and E 47th. I see kids crossing Elliott here all the time and it seems very dangerous. It’s just a matter of time before one of them gets hit! I want speed humps on my residential street at 7125Culloden Street be installed tomorrow. We have cars, motorcycle and bicycles flying with enormous speed all the time.

For speed hump requests to address neighbourhood traffic safety concerns, due to high traffic volumes on local/residential streets, do not create a case.
Advise caller they must complete and mail in the “Speed Hump Request Form” on the website.
There is no City funding or program available to address “short-cutting” traffic (including those trying to avoid areas with construction etc.)
Note: If speed humps already exist and speeding is still an issue, advise caller to contact VPD Non-Emergency line at 604 717 3321 for enforcement, as the City is unable to provide further traffic calming measures.

I’m 82 and I’m a senior. One time, I met the president of the United States. He was a nice fellow. We shook hands and then I met his wife. She was a real looker. Back in 1982 I had my first grandchild and it made me the happiest fellow on Earth. Anyway, I wanted to ask about how much traffic comes by my house? I live on a fairy busy street and I want to know how many cars go by my house on average. I would like to know for the safety of my grandchildren who come over to visit me every weekend. I’m so confused. The left turn flashing arrow at Granville &King Edward is broken. I just drove there yesterday (Saturday) and it was not working. I know it worked before as I drove to work during the week.
The left turn flashing arrow at Granville & King Edward operates on a fixed time basis, and is only active Monday to Friday from 3pm to 6pm.

I have a safety concern. There has been too many accidents here at this intersection .. and since they have installed a pedestrian crosswalk. This is at the intersection between Elliott St and Waverley. The cars are still not slowing down and it is still very dangerous. I would like to inquire to see if there’s anything else we can do to prevent more accidents from happening.
