What is Highway drainage?
Refers to any water that falls onto the public roads, highways and footpaths. It does not remain there as the roads are used for commuting. It flows into the Severn Trent sewer where it is collected, treated and distributed back into the network as clean, drinkable water that’s ready for consumption.
