The "Rule of B's" says these should not be visible while at school.
What are: Breasts, bellies, butts, backs, bras, boxers/briefs, bonnets/ballcaps/beanies/bandanas, blankets/bedding
Absence excuse notes should be dropped off here first thing in the morning.
What is the main office?
Students who leave campus without permission will receive one of these.
Disciplinary referral.
After school, car riders must be picked up by this time (if not staying for an extracurricular activity).

This is our new PBIS acronym.
What is HEAT?
Honor, Excellence, Accountability, Teamwork - students can earn "Red Rec" cards for displaying these characteristics. Cards can be used to enter weekly raffles where admin draws 3 $10 gift card prizes.
These items are not allowed at athletic events.
What are backpacks/bags/bookbags?
You have 3 days to turn in one of these providing the child’s name, grade, date of absence(s), reason for absence, and parent/guardian signature in order to make you absence excused.
What is a parent note?
In order to keep the LHS campus safe, students can use this app to report vape, drugs, or weapons.
What is "Safe Campus"? The app can be found on the student portal. $25 for tobacco/vape; $100 for drugs/alcohol
Students may purchase items from these in between classes and during lunch ONLY.
What are the vending machines?
Students are NOT allowed to purchase items during class time.
Students can visit this location from 7:30 - 3:30 and check out books, visit the Chromebook Techs, or get assistance with research.
What is the Media Center?
What can students wear on their heads?
Nothing! No head coverings are allowed. Headbands must be 3" in width or less.
Illness, death in family, family emergency (restrictions apply), educational tours and trips with prior approval, celebration of religious holidays, voter registration or voting, and medical/dental appointments are considered these.
What are excused absences?
Students who have 6 tardies in a class will receive this.
What is after school detention?
These can be purchased in the front office to help keep your possessions safe.
What is a lock/locker?
Locks are $5 each. LHS is NOT responsible for lost or damaged personal items!
Students can check their academic progress on this website/app.
What is Infinite Campus?
What is one?
Absence for which no note is submitted, absence with parents’ consent other than those considered excusable, leaving school during school hours without the permission of school personnel, all-day or individual class truancy, and family vacations are considered these.
What are unexcused absences?
A student who receives 7 tardies in a class will receive this.
What is a referral? Students receive ISS for 7 tardies.
Students who receive a final grade of 65% - 69% in a core class can attend this in order to bring their grade to passing.
What is intersession?
Students must attend the intersession held immediately after the semester in which the course was failed in order to receive credit.
Students who are members of this organization for all 4 years of high school are eligible to receive a community scholarship for college.
What is PTSO (Parent, Teachers, Student Organization)
This is the consequence of a student's second dress code offense.
What is ISS?
Students with an 85+ in a course (9th & 10th grade - only elective courses; 11th and 12th grade - any course) can be exempt from an exam if they have this many or fewer absences.
What is 3?
A student caught with a vape will receive this consequence for their first offense.
What is 2 days out-of-school and 2 days in-school suspension?
Charges are also filed.
A second offense is 3/3 with charges filed.
A third offense will result in alternative school.
Administration has the authority to search these if there is "reasonable suspicion" that a student has something in their possession they should not have.
What are cars, bags, purses, lockers, backpacks, pockets, etc.
Be sure to clean out cars and bags before coming to school!
