False! It is NOT okay to run inside, no matter how many children are in the room.
True or False? When boarding the bus and waiting to leave for a field trip, it is okay to stand up to talk to others on the bus.
False! It is okay to be talking quietly to friends, but you need to sit immediately upon getting on the bus. Teachers need to be able to easily see everyone to make sure we leave on time!
True or False? During water play, it is okay to run in the grass AND the parking lot, as long as the cones are set up.
False! While it is okay to run in the grass, carefully, of course, since the grass will be wet, it is NOT okay to run in the parking lot, even with the cones being set up.
True or False? Once we get up to the hill, it is okay to run and play, as long as we stay on top of the hill where we can be seen.

Depending on the mess, clean it up! If it is too big of a mess or a danger to the class, tell the teacher in the room immediately.

If you are playing a game that involves dumping water on others, what should you do beforehand?
Ask if it is okay to dump water on them. Do not assume that they are okay with it.
True or False? When lining up to go outside, it is okay to grab as much as we want to take outside, as long as we make sure to bring it all back in.
FALSE! You may chose ONE outside toy to take outside with you, after being asked when lining up.
How should the materials of the instructors be handled? (ball, cones, etc.)
With respect! They should not be touched unless you have permission from the instructor. If given permission, they should be used appropriately and the correct way.
How many paper towels are needed to dry your hands after washing them?
One! It is wasteful to take more than one paper towel.
When on a field trip, what are THREE things we need to make sure we do?
1. ALWAYS stay with your assigned group.
2. Act respectfully towards teachers, other school agers, and anyone else we come in contact with.
3. Stay positive - even if it's something you don't like!
What items do you need in order to be able to participate in water play?

What is a good idea to bring with you daily so that you can fill it and take it outside with you throughout the day?
A water bottle! This will eliminate having to come inside so often for water breaks.
How should the instructor ALWAYS be treated?
With respect! Just like you would treat your School Age teachers (or better).
Someone comes to join the center that you are playing at and starts being mean to you. How do you think you should handle this?
First, try talking to the person to let them know how the way they are acting is making you feel. If they do not stop or it worsens, talk to a teacher.
While on a field trip, you see someone from School Age doing things they are not supposed to be doing. What do you think you should do?
Tell the teacher in charge of your group! Do not try to handle it by yourself.
At what temperature are we NOT allowed to go outside and participate in outdoor activities?
When the real feel is 90 degrees or above.
What are some reasons as to why we may not be able to go outside? (4)
If the real feel is 90 degrees or more, if there is an air quality alert, if there is inclement weather, or if there is danger in the area.
If there is a technique that you do not know how to do, what are some things you could do?
1. Ask for help from either the teacher(s) or a nearby friend.
2. Try your best at it; practice makes perfect!
3. Sit quietly until the next technique/activity.
If there is an emergency, what is the first thing that should be done?
Immediately get silent and listen for the instructions from the teacher. Then, follow those instructions without question or hesitation.

Part I: The ability to hear and see everything that is going on inside and outside of the bus.
Part II: Make sure we are sitting correctly in our seats and talking quietly with the children sitting around us.
What are the boundaries during water play?
You may not pass the cones or bus. You must stay either on the blacktop (parking spaces), or in the grass where the sprinkler is.
If a ball goes beyond the boundaries of where we are allowed, what should be done?
First, tell the teacher and ask if you can go get it. If you are given the okay, go carefully to get it by yourself.
If you do not want to participate one day, what should you do?
Talk to the teacher about why you do not want to participate; then, sit on the sidelines and watch for that class period.
