Phoebe visits McKale Center on August 1 of her junior year for an unofficial visit and has coffee with Coach to talk about recruiting. She goes home and returns to campus at 6pm with her parents to talk some more. How many in-person contact opportunities has Coach used with Phoebe?
Recruiting conversations with prospects become permissible during an institutional camp once the prospect has reached the permissible age to have this type of interaction with a coach.
In-person contact (August 1 prior to junior year for Olympic sports, September 1 of junior year for softball)
A team of high school freshmen want to tour campus. The freshmen all buy passes to eat lunch at BDK. Coach Z is also eating lunch at BDK and would need to ensure what doesn't occur in order to prevent a violation.
Dialogue in excess of a greeting.
A contact is any face-to-face encounter between a PSA or the PSA's family members and an institutional staff member or athletics representative during which any dialogue occurs in excess of an exchange of a greeting.
As the crow flies, prospects must stay withing this mileage of campus during an official visit.
30 miles.
An institution may provide entertainment, pursuant to Bylaw 13.6.7.5, on the official visit for a PSA and up to four family members accompanying the PSA within a 30-mile radius of the institution's main campus.
On September 1, Coach Z goes to a high school to watch the team practice. Of the 15 PSAs on the team roster, 10 were at practice but 5 were missing due to choir competition. How many individuals has the coach evaluated on the September 1 high school visit?
15. A visit (without contact) by a coaching staff member to a PSA's educational institution counts as an evaluation for all PSAs in that sport at that educational institution.
Coach Z is going to the Junior Nationals in Iowa on July 20. Coach Z plans to evaluate and contact a few remaining prospects. Any prospect that has in-person contact with Coach Z must be a part of what graduating class?

4pm. In-person contact may not be made with a prospective student-athlete at any site prior to any athletics competition. In-person contact may occur after the prospective student-athlete's competition concludes for the day and the prospective student-athlete has been released by the appropriate authority (e.g., coach).
Attendance restrictions for camps may only be limited by number, age, grade level and/or gender. A coach's attendance at an institutional or noninstitutional camp that limits camp attendees by performance metrics is what.
Prohibited.
Spot the violation: Joey is arriving on August 2 for his official visit. Coach Z knows Joey is highly recruited and wants to impress him on the visit. Coach Z leaves snacks and decorative balloons in the hotel room for when Joey arrives. What was impermissible?
Balloons. Nonpersonalized decorations cannot be left anywhere except inside Arizona Athletics facilities that are closed to the public while the decorations are up.
Phoebe's parents are are wary of the college recruiting process and asking Coach Z to give them something in writing to promise that Phoebe will get a scholarship at Arizona. This date is the first date that Coach Z could send a text message specifying that amount of Phoebe's scholarship offer.
August 1 of Phoebe's senior year in high school.
Before August 1 of a PSA's senior year in high school, an institution cannot provide a written offer of athletically related financial aid or indicate in writing to the PSA that an athletically related grant-in-aid will be offered by the institution.
Evaluation of multiple contests in a tournament or multiple-day event that occurs on consecutive days shall count as [X] evaluations.

Its August 15 and Coach Z evaluates Phoebe practicing with her club team in Los Angeles.
