At our Night at the Library program you learned about the Wild West. During this time it was not uncommon to see a bounty, along with bounty hunters. 

What is a bounty? (and a bounty hunter?)

A bounty is a financial reward offered by an organization or government. They were offered as rewards for the collection - "dead or alive" - of known criminals. 

Bounty hunters were folks that went after said criminals in hopes of collecting the reward.

Dinosaur fossils have yet to be found in the state of Indiana. Scientists suspect that there were in fact dinosaurs here, but something happened to their fossils. What do they blame for the missing fossils?

Glaciers! 

Many layers of rock, including some that likely contained dinosaur fossils, were worn away by glaciers moving and melting across the state, taking years of sediment with them.
