What is the Passover meal remembering & how does it connect to Jesus?
It reminds them of when they were in Egypt & the angel of death ‘passed over’ their house & their 1st born son was not killed, because they sacrificed a lamb & put its blood on their door posts.
This connects to Jesus because he became that sacrificial Lamb when he died on the cross! His blood was shed for us for the forgiveness of sin & giving us eternal life.
Why did people want to kill Jesus?
They saw him as a threat. He was claiming to be God.
