Everyone starts at this phase. During this phase, you will get to know the staff, the routine, rules, and values. This face last for 7 days from the day of admission.

Residents on the Accountability phase and higher will be eligible to participate in monthly (blank). A list of safe off-site activities will be approved by the treatment team and provided each month. Recent seclusion or restraint will disqualify residents for the (blank). Any negative behaviors can result in a phase down.

5-10 minutes of sitting quietly and regrouping, a stress relief item may be provided based on staff judgement and safety.

This document is required for you to transition during the journey to change. This document needs to be signed by your teacher, milieu manager, residential therapist, and mental health therapist before you can transition to the "next level".

In this phase you aim high and achieve new heights in personal growth. By now you are reflecting on your accomplishments and how far you have come. Passes have increased to 24-72 hours, and you are so close to graduation you can smell it.

Residents are encouraged each month to bring their creativity for our monthly (blank). This event is a celebration of individuality, creativity, and courage. Parents and guardians are welcome to attend.

You have to understand that sometimes life is unfair. As a result, one person can ruin something for everyone else. If it's multiple people, then they can ruin it for a group. If majority of people are acting up, being insubordinate, and creating problems for others then this is implemented to everyone on the unit and the unit resides on the hall for that day.

The "time limit" everyone thinks they must spend at Sunarch academy when in reality it can be more or less. The actual time depends on how treatment focused a resident is.

Patients will have the ability to showcase their motivation and skills to remain treatment focused and earn (Blank) with Leadership every Monday/Friday. This is to boost patient motivation to improve behaviors and give them an attainable goal that is not restricted by levels or behaviors aside from physical altercations.

What is "Dine and Dash with Leadership"

In order to keep yourself safe from self-harm we implement this. We provide you with paper scrubs, both top and bottom, and when we are certain you are not a threat to yourself, we "take you off this".

What is linen restriction?

Electronic/battery operated items, cell phones, glass, metals, weapons, and pens are all prohibited items that you are not allowed to have. If seen with these items they will be confiscated, and a room search will be conducted. These items are known as (blank)

In this phase you have already progressed a little, but dedication is key. Distractions are everywhere but you try to stay as consistent and perseverant as possible in regard to achieving your goals. You are almost at the final phase, but you have to get through this one first. Look at the bright side, at least you can get 12-hour passes.

Residents who exhibit high level of dedication to the program will have the chance to receive recognition from Sunarch staff members. In addition, they get to join Dine and Dash as well!

To prioritize safety and well-being of all residents, we perform (blank) on admission, outings, or as ordered for safety concerns. Following each family visit, a search will be conducted, and residents will be required to undergo a urine analysis.

During this phase you take more responsibility for your actions. At this time, you are beginning to realize why treatment is necessary and that you are willing to put in the work. You should be receptive to feedback from staff and peers about your conduct. You are beginning to consider the reason for issues that have been a problem as well as possible resolutions.

When you make progress in achieving your goals, we want to recognize your hard work and dedication. We use a special program called the token economy. It's like a (blank) where you earn points for doing positive things and making good choices.

Throughout the night, staff members will perform regular checks to ensure the security and welfare of all residents. Whenever new possession are brought into the facility, the overnight staff will conduct an inventory check and store them securely.
