Explain the parable of the Ten Virgins and what does this parable mean?

There were ten virgin waiting for the bridegroom. They did not know when he was coming. 5 of them were wise and 5 were foolish. The 5 wise ones brought extra oil for their lamps. The foolish ones did not. They all fell asleep. Then someone woke them and exclaimed that the bridegroom is coming. The wise ones fixed their lamps and went on their way. The foolish ones were asking the wise ones for oil but the wise ones told them to go buy more. The wise ones got to go to the wedding but the foolish ones were not allowed. 


This means that we cannot share our salvation with anyone else. We should always be ready for when Jesus comes back for his church.
